Ryan (Ryan & Jess, get it?) and I met in March of 2002, got engaged in July of 2004 and married August 27, 2005. We moved together from Connecticut (where our whole family lives) to North Carolina in 2004. 14 years later and we still love it here.
We have two adorably odd and sweet dogs, CT and Jack, and I am sure we will post pictures and blogs all about them.
We are both big sports fans and many of our trips involve a game or several. I am a huge hockey fan and only 13 days after moving to NC we purchased our season tickets to the Carolina Hurricanes. We have been in the same seats for the great days of winning Lord Stanley's Cup in 2006 and the crapfest of late with a playoff drought going on 9 years. We also root for all UConn sports (where Ryan attended college), the New York Yankees and the New York Football Giants!
We also hope to keep this blog as a journal of our travels to look back at and remember the awesome trips.
